AML/KYC Policy
1. Introduction
This Anti-Money Laundering and Know Your Customer policy ("AML/KYC Policy") is intended to prevent and reduce the risks of CryptoPulse being used for illegal activity.
2. Internal Regulation
CryptoPulse follows anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing practices and procedures. The purpose of these measures is to demonstrate that CryptoPulse treats any attempt to misuse the service for unlawful purposes seriously.
3. Warning
CryptoPulse warns users against using the service for money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, or the purchase of prohibited goods and services.
If CryptoPulse receives information indicating suspicious activity, the service may initiate temporary verification, suspend the exchange, and retain network fees from the exchange amount when a refund is made.
4. Requirements
To reduce compliance risks, CryptoPulse applies the following standard requirements to all orders created by users:
- The sender and recipient of the payment under the order must be the same person. Transfers in favor of third parties are strictly prohibited.
- All contact details and any other personal information submitted in the order must be current and accurate.
- Creating orders through anonymous proxies, VPNs, Tor, or other anonymous internet connections is strictly prohibited.
5. Verification Procedures
Customer due diligence is one of the international standards for preventing dangerous activity. For this purpose, CryptoPulse applies its own verification procedures in accordance with AML and KYC standards.
CryptoPulse may request the following from a user:
- A real-time photo with a passport.
- A scan or photo of the passport (first page, second page, and registration page if applicable).
- Proof of source of funds such as photos, screenshots, or statements.
- A video with the passport in hand where the applicant confirms the order number and source of funds.
- A video from the sending platform showing the transaction hash, addresses, date, and transaction ticker.
Verification usually takes up to 7 days. If funds are blocked because of high risk or an investigation, they may be held until the review is completed. CryptoPulse reserves the right to collect and verify data and to carry out ongoing user checks.
6. AML Officer
CryptoPulse appoints a responsible AML officer. Their duties include:
- monitoring all aspects of anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing;
- collecting user information;
- developing and updating internal policies and procedures;
- monitoring transactions and investigating deviations;
- maintaining records and reporting;
- updating risk assessments.
7. System Functions
- daily screening of users against blacklists such as OFAC;
- data aggregation and watchlist inclusion;
- refusal of service in case of risk;
- investigations, recordkeeping, and reporting.
8. Behavior Analysis
CryptoPulse analyzes not only the user's identity, but also user behavior in transactions, applying risk scoring and suspicious-activity detection.
9. Risk Assessment
CryptoPulse applies international risk-assessment standards to prevent and reduce money-laundering and terrorist-financing threats.
10. Customer Due Diligence Enforcement
If an illegal operation is suspected, the administration may:
- suspend the exchange;
- request identity documents;
- request additional information;
- report suspicious activity to the responsible officer.
11. Confidentiality
CryptoPulse guarantees client confidentiality. Information may be disclosed only where required by law or within cooperation with competent international authorities.
12. Conclusion
CryptoPulse does not assume legal responsibility for unlawful use of the service, but takes all reasonable steps to prevent such activity. The service does not provide services to citizens of Afghanistan, the United States, Iran, Russia, Belarus, Canada, and other restricted jurisdictions. In case of violations, funds may be blocked.
Important notice
We do not interact with Commex, Rapira, or Capitalist. These platforms are focused on the Russian market, which we do not serve. If deposits or withdrawals through these platforms are detected, the funds will be blocked.
